Here there is no gap so the entire surface is covered and pushing air to the rear then the 140mm on the rear acts as tunnel effect for exhaust and pushes all the air outside quickly. I was also told 3 120mm at the front will create a better airflow because if you use 2 140mm on this case, it leaves an awkard gap:
